Established in 2003, The Institute of Environmental Science & Meteorology, or IESM, is an academic unit of the College of Science in the University of the Philippines, Diliman.
IESM is committed to providing top-tier education in environmental and atmospheric sciences, equipping graduate students with the knowledge and skills needed to address environmental challenges in the Philippines and beyond.
IESM is a hub for innovative research in environmental science and meteorology, leading studies that advance our understanding of climate, weather systems, and sustainable development, both regionally and globally.
IESM plays a vital role in supporting national and regional efforts to mitigate environmental risks, offering expert guidance, and collaborating with government agencies and the public to enhance public safety and environmental stewardship.
