GeoHazards International, together with the UP College of Engineering and GeoThink will hold ROOTED SOLUTIONS: A Forum on Nature-based Solutions for Flood Management on October 17, 2025 (Friday) from 2:00 to 5:00 PM (Philippine Time) via Zoom.

The forum will feature discussions on the role of nature-based and ecosystem approaches in reducing flood risks and enhancing climate resilience. Speakers include Dr. Mary Antonette Beroya-Eitner, Affiliate Faculty of the Institute of Environmental Science and Meteorology (IESM), UP Diliman, and Project manager at GeoHazards International.

The event is co-organized by the UPLB Environmental Biology Division, Institute of Biological Sciences, UP Environmental Science and Meteorology, the Mangrove Warriors, Batangas State University, Batangas State University TNEU ARASOF-Nasugbu, Philippine Association of Landscape Architects (PALA), and the UP National Engineering Center.
