IESM faculty members Dr. Enrico L. Replan and Dr. Tolentino Moya were selected as judges for the 2025 PSYSC STEM Spotlight Challenge, a prestigious nationwide competition organized by the Philippine Society of Youth Science Clubs (PSYSC).
Now in its 54th year, PSYSC continues to champion science education by empowering young innovators across the country. The STEM Spotlight Challenge 2025 brings together outstanding Grade 9–12 students to present original STEM-based solutions addressing real-world issues. Entries compete under four categories:
- Physical Models or Tools,
- Digital Products and Software,
- Mathematical Models or Theoretical Frameworks, and
- Environmental or Agricultural Innovations.

Dr. Replan and Dr. Moya will serve as part of the national panel for both the National Eliminations and Live Online Presentation Rounds, which will be conducted entirely online. Their participation underscores UP-IESM’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of Filipino scientists, problem-solvers, and community innovators.
