







Faculty and researchers from the University of the Philippines Institute of Environmental Science and Meteorology (UP IESM) and the Environmental Hydrology Laboratory participated in the 2025 International SWAT (Soil and Water Assessment Tool) Conference and Workshops, held from June 23 to 27, 2025 in Jeju Island, South Korea.
The delegation presented a total of eight abstracts at the conference, comprising four poster presentations, three oral presentations, and one remote presentation.
Diego Salcedo was awarded Best Student Poster Presentation. In addition, Dr. Mayzonee Ligaray served as a member of the Scientific Committee for this year’s conference.
The International SWAT Conference is a recognized international forum that brings together hydrologists and researchers working on basin-scale environmental modeling, with a focus on applications of the SWAT model.
