Students from the Institute of Environmental Science and Meteorology (IESM) were recognized during the UP Diliman College of Science Scholars Recognition Program 2026 held on 22 April 2026 at the College of Science Amphitheatre. The program honors students across the college for their academic achievements and contributions to the academic community.

Delivering the inspirational message at the event was Dr. Gay Jane Perez, IESM faculty member and Director General of the Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA). The recognition program highlighted the accomplishments of IESM students alongside other College of Science scholars.
