On February 7, 2025, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources – Environmental Management Bureau (DENR-EMB) recognized its partners for their contributions to environmental sustainability. The Institute of Environmental Science and Meteorology (IESM) was among the institutions honored, receiving a plaque in recognition of its commitment to research and collaboration in environmental protection and pollution management.

Representing IESM at the event were Dr. Cherry Ringor, Institute Director, and Dr. Mylene Cayetano, Head of the Environmental Pollution Studies Laboratory, who accepted the award on behalf of the institute.

IESM remains dedicated to advancing scientific research and fostering partnerships that support environmental resilience and sustainability.
