The Institute of Environmental Science and Meteorology (IESM) was presented with a System Award by the Philippine Science High School System (PSHSS) in recognition of its continued partnership in the Science Immersion Program (SIP). The award was given during the 27th founding anniversary celebration of the PSHSS, held on February 6, 2025, at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Pasay City.

Through the SIP, PSHSS students gain hands-on experience in scientific research and laboratory work. IESM has consistently welcomed student interns to its facilities, providing mentorship through its faculty, researchers, and technical staff. By participating in the program, IESM contributes to the PSHSS’s goal of inspiring young students to pursue careers in science and technology.

IESM is honored to be part of this meaningful collaboration and remains committed to fostering the next generation of Filipino scientists.
