Graduate students from the IESM Meteorology and Environmental Science programs joined fellow scholars at the 14th Accelerated Science and Technology Human Resource Development Program (ASTHRDP) Graduate Scholars’ Conference in Iloilo City, where they shared their research through oral and poster presentations. IESM faculty member Dr. Rafaela Jane P. Delfino also took part in the conference as a judge.

Implemented by the Department of Science and Technology–Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) with the National Science Consortium, ASTHRDP supports graduate education and research in priority science and technology fields. Its annual Graduate Scholars’ Conference gives students an opportunity to present their work beyond their home institutions, exchange ideas with fellow scholars and researchers, and bring their research to a wider academic audience.
