IESM and Service
At the Institute of Environmental Science and Meteorology (IESM), we provide a range of services designed to support academic growth, technical training, and research development. As an institute, we offer access to state-of-the-art facilities, including building use for academic events, conferences, and workshops. Our technical training programs are tailored to equip students, researchers, and professionals with the skills necessary to excel in environmental and atmospheric sciences. More information about our external services can be found in our Citizens Charter and Facilities page.
In addition to our institutional services, IESM’s diverse research laboratories offer specialized services that cater to specific areas of study and research. These services vary by laboratory and include advanced analytical techniques, environmental monitoring, and specialized research support. To explore the full range of services provided by our research laboratories, please visit our dedicated research laboratories page.
Finally, IESM proudly serves as a Regional Training Center (RTC) for the World Meteorological Organization (WMO). As an RTC, IESM offers advanced academic programs, including a Postgraduate Diploma and Master’s degree in Meteorology, as well as a PhD program designed to cultivate expertise and leadership in atmospheric sciences. These programs provide rigorous training and research opportunities, equipping professionals with the skills necessary to address global and regional challenges in weather, climate, and related fields.
